Vaccination Inspectors appointed.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the undermentioned persons to be Vaccination Inspectors, under “The Public Health Act, 1900,” namely :—
FREDERICK JAMES ROBERTSHAW,
for the District of Whangarei, vice Walter Clunie Drake, as from the 7th March, 1908 ;
HENRY WALTER DAWSON,
for the District of Onehunga, vice Julian Francis Long, as from the 9th March, 1908 ;
WILLIAM RICHMOND THOMPSON,
for the District of Opunake, vice William Alfred Harding, as from the 5th March, 1908 ;
EDWARD HARRISON DAVIS,
for the District of Gore, vice William James Walsh, as from the 2nd March, 1908.

Special Orders made by the Parihaka Road Board, County of Taranaki, making By-laws and subdividing District.

THE following special orders, made by the Parihaka Road Board, are published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

PARIHAKA ROAD BOARD.
By-laws.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and provisions in that behalf contained in “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Public Works Acts Compilation Act, 1905,” and the amendments thereof respectively, the Parihaka Road Board hereby makes the following by-laws, which shall come into force on the 30th day of April, 1908 :—

That the use of bullocks as traction animals is during the months of May, June, July, and August hereby prohibited on all roads under the care, control, or management of the Parihaka Road Board.

Every person committing a breach of the last preceding by-law shall be liable to a penalty of £5.
I hereby certify that the above resolutions were duly passed at a special meeting of the Parihaka Road Board held at Rahotu on the 19th day of September, 1907, in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Public Works Acts Compilation Act, 1905,” and were duly confirmed as a special order at an ordinary meeting of the said Board on the 13th day of November, 1907, all the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts being duly observed.

PARIHAKA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Parihaka Road Board held at 11 a.m. on the 26th day of November, 1907, at the Board’s office, situate at Rahotu, the following resolutions were moved, viz. :—
- That the Parihaka Road District be divided into six subdivisions, to be called wards, and that the names of each said respective ward shall be the Warea Ward, Pungarehu Ward, Rahotu Ward, Oaonui Ward, Opua Ward, and Opunake Ward. The boundaries of each said respective ward shall be as follows, viz. :—
PUNGAREHU WARD.
Bounded on the north by part of the southern boundary of the Warea Ward from the foreshore to the north-west corner of Section 13, Block XIV, Cape Survey District: on the east by the said Section 13, Block XIV, Cape Survey District, crossing Parihaka Road; thence by the eastern boundary of Section 6, Block XIV, Cape Survey District, to the south boundary of the said Section 6: on the south by the south boundary of the said Section 6, Block XIV, the south boundary of Section 8, Block XIII, and the south boundary of Section 102, Block XII, Cape Survey District, to the South Road; thence southerly along the centre of the South Road to a point in line with the south boundary of Section 53, Block XII, Cape Survey District; thence westerly along the south boundary of the said Section 53, Sections 50, 49, 48, 47, and 46, Block XII, Cape Survey District, to the foreshore: on the west by Tasman Sea from the south boundary of the said Section 46, Block XII, Cape Survey District, to the Teikaparua Stream, the place of commencement.
RAHOTU WARD.
Bounded on the north by the southern boundary of the Pungarehu Ward from the foreshore to the south-east corner of Section 6, Block XIV, Cape Survey District; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of the said Section 6, Block XIV, Cape Survey District, crossing Parihaka Road; thence by the western boundary of Section 13, Block XIV, Cape Survey District; thence easterly by the south boundary of Section 8, Block XIV, Cape Survey District, to the centre of the Kapoaiaia Stream; thence by the centre of the said Kapoaiaia Stream to the centre of the Tohu Road; thence southerly by the centre of the said Tohu Road to the south boundary of Section 12, Block XIV, Cape Survey District; thence easterly by the south boundary of the said Section 12, Block XIV, Cape Survey District, and the south boundary of Education Reserve 3, Block XV, Cape Survey District, to the Forest Reserve.
WAREA WARD.
Bounded on the north by part of the south boundary of Section 25, Block IV, Cape Survey District, from the foreshore to the Coast Road; thence south-easterly along the centre of the Puniho Road to the Forest Reserve: on the east by the Forest Reserve from the centre of the Puniho Road to the south boundary of Education Reserve 3, Block XV, Cape Survey District: on the south by the said south boundary of Education Reserve 3 and the south boundary of Section 12 of Block XIV, Cape Survey District, to the centre of the Tohu Road; thence northerly along the centre of the said Tohu Road to the Kapoaiaia Stream; thence westerly along the centre of the said Kapoaiaia Stream to the south-east boundary of Section 8, Block XIV, Cape Survey District; thence by the said south boundary of Section 8 and the south boundary of Subdivisions 1, 2, 3, and 4, Ngatimoeahu Block, to the eastern boundary-line of Section 10, Block XIII, Cape Survey District; thence northerly by the said boundary-line to the south-east corner of Subdivision 5, Ngatimoeahu Block; thence by the southern boundary of Subdivisions 5 and 6, Ngatimoeahu Block, Block IX, Cape Survey District; thence northerly by the western boundary-line of the said Subdivision 6 to the Newall Road; thence westerly along the centre of the said Newall Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 17, Block IX, Cape Survey District; thence by the said boundary of Section 17 to the Teikaparua Stream; thence westerly along the centre of the said Teikaparua Stream to the foreshore: on the west by Tasman Sea from the Teikaparua Stream to the south boundary-line of Section 25, Block IV, Cape Survey District, the place of commencement: on the east by the Forest Reserve from the south boundary of the said Education Reserve 3, Block XV, Cape Survey District, to the south-east corner of Section 5, Block XV, Cape Survey District: on the south by the south boundary of the said Section 5, Block XV, Cape Survey District, and the south boundary of Sections 27, 26, 25, 24, and 23, Block XIV, Cape Survey District, to the centre of the Okahu Road; thence southerly by the centre of the said Okahu Road to the south boundary of the Ngatihaupoto Block; thence westerly along the south boundary of the said Ngatihaupoto Block to the centre of the South Road; thence southerly along the centre of the South Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 86, Block I, Opunake Survey District; thence westerly along the south boundary of the said Section 86, Sections 83, 82, and 78, Block I, Opunake Survey District, to the foreshore: on the west by the Tasman Sea from the south boundary of Section 78, Block I, Opunake Survey District, to the south boundary of Section 46, Block XII, Cape Survey District, the place of commencement.
