THE LEESTON ENGINEERING COMPANY (LTD.).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders in the above-named company held at the offices of the company, Leeston, on the 5th day of December, 1907, and duly confirmed at a subsequent meeting held at the same place on the 19th day of December, 1907, the following special resolution was duly carried: "That in the opinion of this meeting it is advisable that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that it be so wound up"; and "That Mr. C. Boxshall, Accountant, Cathedral Square, Christchurch, be appointed Liquidator."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately existing between us, the undersigned, EDWIN DRAPER GRACE and ERNEST SUMMERS WILSON, in the business of Commission Agents, &c., has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the twenty-ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eight. And that the said Ernest Summers Wilson will receive all moneys due to the said partnership business and pay all debts owing by the same.

RAGLAN COUNTY.
SPECIAL ORDER.—MAKING TRAFFIC BY-LAW.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on that behalf by section 303 of "The Counties Act, 1886," and by section 139, subsection (2), of "The Public Works Act, 1905," the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That section 8 of By-law No. 2 be hereby repealed, and the following new section be adopted in lieu thereof:—
New Section 8 of By-law No. 2.
No person shall during the months of May, June, July, August, and September in any year engage, use, or employ, either as owner or driver thereof, in any kind of traffic on any of the roads under the care, control, or management of the Council, any vehicle having a load exceeding five hundredweight in weight for a two-wheeled vehicle, and a load not exceeding ten hundredweight in weight for a four-wheeled vehicle, unless the number of wheels to such vehicle and the width of the tires of such vehicle shall, in proportion to the number of animals used or employed to draw the same, comply and be in accordance with the Schedule hereunder set forth:
Provided always that in no case during the above-mentioned months in any year shall any person engage, use, or employ as owner or driver thereof any two-wheeled vehicle upon any of the roads hereinbefore mentioned in carrying a greater load than one ton, or any four-wheeled vehicle in carrying a greater load than thirty hundredweight. Any person committing a breach of this by-law shall be deemed guilty of an offence, and shall be liable, upon conviction, to a penalty not exceeding five pounds.
