Declaring certain Roads in Lowry Peaks Survey District to be County Roads.

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of March, 1908.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and three of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of the gazetting of this Order in Council, become county roads.

SCHEDULE.

The roads mentioned hereunder:—

All in the Land District of Canterbury; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 23053, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above.

Declaring Roads in the County of Stratford to be County Roads.

Declaring Roads in the Rosewill Settlement, Mackenzie County, to be County Roads.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be county roads.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Canterbury Land District, Mackenzie County, commencing at a point on the Canning-ton Road, at the south-east corner of Section 63, Rosewill Settlement, Block IX, Pareora Survey District, and extending in a westerly direction between Sections 63 and 64, and terminating at the north-west corner of Section 64, all in Block IX, Pareora Survey District, being a distance of 41 chains or thereabouts.

Also all that portion of road in the Canterbury Land District, Mackenzie County, commencing at a point on the Monavale Road about 22½ chains westerly from the north-west corner of Section 36, Rosewill Settlement, Block VIII, Opawa Survey District, and proceeding in a southerly direction along the frontage of Section 35, and terminating in the Green Hill Road, all in Block VIII, Opawa Survey District, being a distance of 24 chains or thereabouts.

Also all that portion of road in the Canterbury Land District, Mackenzie County, known as Whiteman Road, commencing at a point on the Mackenzie Road at the north-east corner of Section 23, Rosewill Settlement, Block VIII, Opawa Survey District, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction along the northern frontages of Sections 23, Block VIII, and 22, Block VII, and terminating at the north-west corner of the said Section 22, all in Opawa Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 55 chains or thereabouts.
