NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of
the shareholders of the SLATE RIVER SLUICING COM-
PANY (LIMITED) held on the 7th February, 1908, the follow-
ing extraordinary resolution was passed :—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the
company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue
its business, that it is advisable to wind up the company,
and that it be wound up accordingly.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register
a Memorandum of Mortgage No. 62538, from BASIL
MAPLES TAYLOR to AUGUSTUS ROBERT INWOOD,
affecting part Lot 16, Deposited Plan No. 264, Subdivi-
sion H, Right Bank Wanganui River, being part of the land
comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 13, folio 176, and the
whole of the land in Lease 3514, and evidence having been
lodged of the loss of the said lease, I hereby give notice that
I will dispense with the production of the said lease and
register the memorandum of mortgage as requested unless
caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 12th
day of March, 1908.

the Sydenham Ward of the City of Christchurch, whereof
ANNIE ELIZABETH WATTS, wife of Arthur James
Watts, of Sydenham, Builders’ Assistant, is the registered
proprietor, and of memorandum of mortgage, registered
No. 47497, affecting the above land, whereof MARY ANN
CLARK, wife of George Clark, of Upper Riccarton, Black-
smith, is the registered mortgagee, and application having
been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of
title and for the registration of a dealing affecting the said
mortgage, I hereby give notice that I will issue such pro-
visional certificate of title and register such dealing, dis-
pen sing with the production of the said mortgage, at the
expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette con-
taining this notice.
