Designation of “Lyttelton Naval Artillery Cadet Volunteers” changed.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that the designation of the “Lyttelton Naval Artillery Cadet Volunteers” be changed to the “Lyttelton Garrison Artillery Cadet Volunteers,” to be attached to the Canterbury Division, New Zealand Garrison Artillery Volunteers, and with effect from 9th December, 1907.

THE undermentioned public-school cadet battalion, companies, and detachments are recognised under the regulations published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 16th August, 1906:—

Auckland Education District.
The Ohinemuri Battalion, consisting of the following companies:—
Nos. 1 and 2 Companies Waihi Central Public School Cadets, Waihi East Public School Cadets, Paeroa Public School Cadets, Te Aroha Public School Cadets, and Waihou-cum-Morrinsville Public School Cadets, with the following officers: Captain William Lloyd to be Major, Captain Donald Roderick Frank Campbell to be Adjutant, and Arthur Edward Day to be Quartermaster.

The Aratapu District High School Cadet Detachment.
The Hamilton West District High School Cadet Company.
The Hamilton East Public School Cadet Detachment.
The Karangahake Public School Cadet Detachment.
The Pukekohe West District High School Cadet Company.
The Te Oruru Public School Cadet Detachment.

Wanganui Education District.
The Lytton Street, Feilding, Public School Cadet Company.

Nelson Education District.
Takaka Lower District High School Cadet Company.

North Canterbury Education District.
The Riccarton, Spreydon, and Hornby Public Schools to form a combined cadet company.
Southbrook and Wharenui Public Schools to form detachments of the above.
