Land reserved for Public Utility in the Marlborough Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power conferred by
section thirty of “The Reserves and other Lands Dis-
posal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1907,” I, William
Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the
Schedule hereunder as a reserve for public utility.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Marlborough Land District,
containing by admeasurement 7·8 perches, more or less,
being Section 1164 of the Town of Picton. Bounded towards
the east by Picton Harbour, 88·4 links; towards the south
by the parcel of land described in Part I of the Eleventh
Schedule to “The Reserves and other Lands Disposal
and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1907,” 90 links;
towards the west by Wellington Street, 19·9 links; and
towards the north-west by Section 1163, 113·1 links: as the
same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 28558/13,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-third day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and seven.

PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power conferred by
section fourteen of “The Reserves and other Lands
Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1907,” I
William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in
the Schedule hereunder as a reserve for a site for a post and
telegraph office.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 32 perches, being Sections Nos. 82
and 83, Town of Patutahi; as the same is delineated on the
plan marked S.G. 57219/4, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-fourth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and seven.

Increasing Number of Councillors, Mungaroa Riding, County of Hutt.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by “The Makara County Act, 1907,” the
entire Makara and Porirua Ridings of the County
of Hutt were severed from that county and constituted a
new county, and it is therefore expedient that the number
of Councillors to represent one of the remaining ridings of
the said County of Hutt should be increased, so as to make
up the full number of the County Council:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of
the power vested in me by “The Counties Act, 1886,” do
hereby increase the present number of Councillors for the
Mungaroa Riding of the County of Hutt by one Councillor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twentieth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and seven.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries
Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the
appointment of
CHRISTIE LE NOEL,
MARINE KURMRICH,
ROBERT DRUMMOND,
WILLIAM MELLSOP, and
EDWARD SEAMAR JEFFS
as Trustees of the Okorako Public Cemetery.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twentieth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and seven.

eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act
Amendment Act, 1888,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket,
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
notify and declare that
CHRISTINA FINLAISON McDOUGALL,
being a person holding the office of Postmaster under “The
Post Office Act, 1900,” at Cardrona, is authorised to take
and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-
and-thirty-fourth section of “The Justices of the Peace
Act, 1882.”
