Land temporarily reserved in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 816 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the Whitikau No. 3a Block; towards the east by the Pakihi Road; towards the south partly by the Pakihi Road and partly by Section No. 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District; and towards the west by Section No. 1, Block I aforesaid: excluding so much of the Pakihi Road as intersects the above-described area: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57889/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For an endowment for primary education.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Bounded towards the north-east by the main road from Belgrove to Motupiko, 2240 links; towards the south-east, north-east, and north-west by Section No. 31 of the said block, 201·3 links, 745·3 links, and 201·3 links respectively; again towards the north-west by the said road, 2638·6 links, and by Section No. 45 of the said block, 713·1 links, and again by the said road, 307·2 links; again towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 10 and 21 of the said block, 3058·9 links; again towards the south-east generally by a road-line, 50·2 links,
and by Sections Nos. 15 and 48 of the said block, 475·8 links and 3492·1 links respectively; towards the east by the last-mentioned section, 1750 links; towards the south generally by the railway reserve, 3975·8 links; and towards the west generally by the Ridge Road and the main road from Belgrove to Motupiko, 6111·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57968/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged with purple. For an endowment for primary education.

Bounded towards the east by Rural Section No. 28383, towards the south by the Mackenzie Road, towards the west by Exe Stream, and towards the north by the Tengawai River; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57942/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a camping-ground for stock.
