NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC.

O N and after the 1st January, 1907, persons ordering
publications issued by this Department will require
to add to the cost a sufficient amount to cover postage.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.

A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette
is now published fortnightly, containing all notices
concerning patents and trade-marks required by law to
be gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for
patents, expired letters patent, and other information
useful to inventors, manufacturers, and others. The
Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the
Gazette, and to others on payment of a subscription of
ten shillings per annum, payable in advance to the
Government Printer.

BANKRUPTCY NOTICES.

T HE public are informed that extracts from the New
Zealand Gazette, containing all Bankruptcy Notices
that appear in each issue, are published weekly, and will
be sent post-free to any address on payment of a sub-
scription of 10s. per annum. Single copies, 3d. each.
Orders should be addressed—

“GOVERNMENT PRINTER, WELLINGTON.”

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

S UBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of
30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period
than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for
the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by
the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day pre-
ceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders
should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed
“Public a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders
are issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to
prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should
accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be re-
turned with receipted account.
