made as security for the said loan: And whereas the provisions of section two of “The Road Boards Acts Amendment Act, 1905,” relating to special orders, were not complied with by the said Board, inasmuch as public notice of the subsequent meeting for the purpose of confirming the resolution making such special order, although published for four weeks, was not published for four successive weeks immediately preceding the day on which the subsequent meeting was held: And whereas it appears that the ratepayers have not been misled by such irregularity, and it is expedient to validate the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section ten of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1902,” and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the said special order and the public notifications in connection therewith shall be and be deemed to have been as good, valid, and effectual as if the said order and notifications had been regularly made, and that the proceedings relative to the said loan shall not be called in question by reason only of the irregularity aforesaid.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Matamata Domain.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two of “The Domain Boards Act, 1904” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made under the provisions of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” on the twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby appoint

ROBERT THOMSON ABBOT, and

to be the Matamata Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seven, at four o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Matamata, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
MATAMATA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 4 perches, more or less, being Block XII, Matamata Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Miro Street, 1150 links; towards the south-east by Hohaia Street, 850 links; towards the south-west by Huia Street, 1150 links; and towards the north-west by Meura Street, 850 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19293/333, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such reserves shall hereafter be known as Kensington Park Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
KENSINGTON PARK DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 8 perches, more or less, being Section No. 156, Block X, Mangaone Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 7 of said Block X, towards the east and south-east by Mangaoronga Road, and towards the south-west by a road; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 42658, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, being Section No. 157, Block X, Mangaone Survey District. Bounded towards the north and north-east generally by a public road, towards the south-west by Native Reserve No. 2A, and towards the north-west by the main road to Eketahuna; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 42658A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 2986 (in red), formerly Town Sections Nos. 542 to 551 and 553 to 560 (inclusive), Town of South Rakaia. Bounded towards the north-east by Dunford Street and Town Section No. 552, 1501 links; towards the south-east by Pitt Street, 501 links; towards the south-west by Michael Street, 900 links; towards the north-west by Town Section No. 541 and Tancred Street, 601 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25681/42, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
