NATIVE LAND COURT NOTICES.

Order under Section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, AUCKLAND DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894”; and in the matter of the land known as Ngarua No. 1b; and in the matter of an application by Te Hurinui Tame and others to the Chief Judge of the said Court, under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” to amend the succession order made on the 31st July, 1902, in respect of the interest of Tiahuiā Pakeke, deceased, herein.

WHEREAS the above application has been referred by me to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and the same has been duly reported on: And whereas it appears that the order appointing successors to Tiahuiā Pakeke, deceased, in Ngarua No. 1b Block was made in error:

Now, therefore, for the purpose of rectifying the said error or mistake, and in exercise of the powers in that behalf vested in me by the said section 39 aforesaid, I hereby order that the said succession order made on the 31st July, 1902, appointing successors to Tiahuiā Pakeke, deceased, in Ngarua No. 1b Block, be and is hereby cancelled; and I hereby further order that a fresh succession order be made in respect of the said interest in favour of Te Hurinui Tame (m.), Hetaraka Tame (m.), Te Moengaroa Tame (f.), and Makirangi Tame (f., 15 years), in equal shares, and that the father (Tame Matahaere) be and is hereby appointed trustee for Makirangi Tame (f., 15 years).
