NOTICE is hereby given that the Nugget Polish Company (Limited), a company duly incorporated in England, proposes to carry on business in Canterbury, and that the Office or place of business of the company in Canterbury, where legal process of any kind may be served upon it and to which notices of any kind may be addressed or delivered, is situate at No. 29 Manchester Street, Christchurch.

In the matter of Donaghy’s Rope and Twine Company (Limited); and in the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, made in the Judicial District of Otago and Southland, and dated the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from forty-seven thousand pounds to twenty-three thousand five hundred pounds, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, were registered by the Registrar of Joint-stock Companies, at Dunedin, on the fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—

“The capital of Donaghy’s Rope and Twine Company (Limited) henceforth is twenty-three thousand five hundred pounds, divided into four thousand seven hundred shares of five pounds each, reduced from forty-seven thousand pounds, divided into four thousand seven hundred shares of ten pounds each.

“At the time of the registration of this minute all the said shares have been issued and allotted, and upon each of them the sum of five pounds has been and is to be deemed paid up.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by John Thomas Whitford and John Moses Smith, under the style of “Whitford and Smith,” in the City of Nelson, in the trade or business of Bootmakers, was this day dissolved. The business will henceforth be carried on by the said John Moses Smith, to whom all debts owing to the late firm are payable and by whom all debts owing by the late firm will be discharged.

As witness our hands, this 16th day of September, 1907.

THE AGRICULTURAL HALL COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the 22nd day of August, 1907, the following special resolution was duly passed, and was confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting held at Dunedin on the 6th September, 1907: “That the company be voluntarily wound up.” And at the same meeting Messrs. W. T. Monckham and H. C. Campbell, of Dunedin, were appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between the undersigned, carrying on business as Drapers, at Petone, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent.

The undersigned Charles John Hollard will continue to carry on the said business alone, and all debts due by the partnership will be paid by the said Charles John Hollard, who is authorised to receive all moneys payable to the partnership.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 230 of “The Companies Act, 1903,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the Chamber of Commerce Room, in Swanson Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 9th day of October, 1907, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the company showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators; and also of determining by extraordinary resolutions the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidators thereof, shall be disposed of.

George Mee and George Bagley, who retire by effluxion of time on the 31st day of December, 1907, and are eligible for re-election,
