Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that the said land shall, from and after the date hereof, be appropriated for a site for a public hall and municipal buildings, under Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881.”

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 575, Town of Cambridge East; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57641/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this ninth day of September, 1907.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was heretofore duly set apart for a site for a Town Hall, being a reserve within Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881”:
And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for municipal purposes, being a reserve within the said Class I:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that the said land shall, from and after the date hereof, be appropriated for municipal purposes under Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881.”

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 11 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 598 and 617, Town of Cambridge East; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57641/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Land temporarily reserved in the Wellington Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 5A, Block VIII, Paraparaumu Suburban. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 5 of said Block VIII, towards the south-east by the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company’s line, towards the south-west by a public road 1 chain wide, and towards the north-west by Section No. 4 of said Block VIII; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57122/18, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a public recreation-ground.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Bounded towards the north-west by the Mackenzie Country Road, 426 links; towards the south-west by a street, 625 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 27 of Cave Village aforesaid, 425·5 links; and towards the north-east by Section No. 28, 625 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57247/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a stock saleyard.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Rural Lands in Hawke’s Bay Land District open for Sale or Selection.

PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease in perpetuity, or, in respect of any land containing or supposed to contain, any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”
