Notifying Land in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the sixteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Weighted with £189 5s., valuation for improvements.
This section is situated in Bank Street, in the rising Township of Mangaweka, and is about 15 chains distant from the post-office by metalled road. It comprises flat land, felled, and in grass. The soil is of good quality, on gravel formation. The improvements comprise 13 chains of fencing, six-roomed house with iron roof and two iron chimneys, wash-house with copper, tool-house, trap-shed, fowl-run, and well.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Otago Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power conferred by section sixty-one of “The Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1906,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby change the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for experimental purposes in connection with fruit-culture or other like industry to a recreation reserve.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 145 acres 3 roods 4 perches, more or less, being Section No. 72, Block I, Leaning Rock Survey District.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Trustee for the Okaiawa Public Cemetery appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

CHARLES COXHEAD

to be a Trustee, in the place of William Rigby Wood, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Okaiawa Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Trustees for the Mauku Public Cemetery appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

SAMUEL PILGRIM,
JOSEPH HASTIE, and
JOSEPH CLARK

to be Trustees, in the place of Heywood Crispe, Hugh Barber, Robert Johnson, and Joseph Walker, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Mauku Public Cemetery, in conjunction with William Thomas Wright and James Finlay, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

to be a Trustee, in the place of George Scandrett, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Te Kapa Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

EDWARD HELLIER

to be a Trustee, in the place of George Hall, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Lepperton Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
