NOTICE is hereby given that the several matters mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written will be heard by the Native Land Court sitting at Puketeraki (Waikouaiti) on the 10th day of September, 1907, or as soon thereafter as the business of the Court will allow.

Petition for Incorporation by the Owners of the Panikau Nos. 4a1 and 5a1 Blocks.
IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, GISBORNE DISTRICT.
In the matter of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” and its amendments, and of the petition for incorporation by the owners of the Panikau Nos. 4a1 and 5a1 Blocks. At a sitting of the Court held at Gisborne, before Robert Noble Jones, Judge, and Eruera Moeke, Assessor, on Friday, the 9th day of August, 1907.
UPON reading the petition for incorporation lodged herein, and upon hearing Mr. H. Hei, counsel for the petitioners, and the evidence adduced on their behalf, and the Court being satisfied of the consent of the majority of the owners respectively of the said Panikau Nos. 4a1 and 5a1 Blocks, and that such blocks being adjoining can be dealt with to the advantage of the owners thereof by being incorporated as hereinafter appearing, it is ordered that the owners whose names are set out in the Schedule hereunder written shall be and the same are hereby constituted a body corporate within the meaning of section 122 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” by the name of “The Proprietors of the Panikau Nos. 4a1 and 5a1 Blocks,” subject to the powers, liabilities, and incidents conferred or imposed by the said Act or any amendments thereof. The said land contains 275 acres 3 roods 21 perches, or thereabouts, and is bounded as follows: Towards the north by the Pakarae River; towards the east by the Pakarae River; towards the south by the Tuawhata Block; and towards the west by the Panikau No. 4b and No. 5b Blocks.
And it is hereby ordered and directed that a general meeting of the proprietors of the said block shall be held at Puatai on Saturday, the 14th day of September, 1907, at the hour of 8 o’clock in the evening, for the purpose of nominating a committee to administer the said land, and fixing the number of its members.
And it is hereby further ordered that the committee shall have full power to defray the reasonable costs and expenses consequent upon this incorporation or incidental thereto, and that the title to the said land hereby vested in the corporate body above named shall be subject to all existing rights, alienations, encumbrances, and contracts affecting the same or any interest therein.
