Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the eighty-ninth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said road; and the said land vests in His Majesty the King as from the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for a public work, to wit, for the purpose of a road in Rangaunu Block, Blocks I and V, Kawakawa Survey District:

And whereas the said lands are held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:

And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the said lands, as required by the eighty-ninth section of “The Public Works Act, 1905”:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the eighty-ninth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the lands shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said road; and the said road shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of July, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three, subsection (a), of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:

And whereas the Ashley Road Board has applied for such consent in respect to the road described in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the Ashley Road Board closing the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
