Additional Land taken in Mataura Hundred for the Pur-
poses of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff
Railway to take further land in Mataura Hundred, in
addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the
said railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-
nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public
Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

The parcels of land mentioned hereunder:—

All in the Southland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked 15524, deposited
in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington, in
the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon bordered
green and purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His
Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its De-
pendencies; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this fifth day of July, in the year of our Lord
one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Lands taken for a Road in Sections 192 and 193, Block
XIII, Parish of Te Puna, Tauranga Survey District,
Tauranga County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule
hereto are required to be taken, under “The
Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain work, to wit, for
the purposes of a road in Block XIII, Tauranga Survey
District:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into with the
owner of the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto to
take such lands for the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation
taking the lands, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
ERRATUM.—In Proclamation dated 27th June, 1907, published in New Zealand Gazette No. 55, page 1925, taking land
for road in Block X, Heretaunga Survey District, for “1 acre 1 rood 1 perch” read “1 acre 2 roods 11·5 perches.”
