NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Auckland Gasworks Stokers and Coalers Industrial Union of Workers, registered No. 331, situated at Auckland, the registration of that industrial union will be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date hereof unless within the six weeks specified proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having some claim on the funds of the industrial union to set aside such cancellation, and the same is set aside accordingly.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY.—NGARUROKO SURVEY DISTRICT.

Situated on the eastern slopes of the Ruahine Range, distant thirty-two miles by road from Town of Hastings. The soil is of a light description, overlying gravel. The country is rugged and broken. With the exception of about 2,000 acres in native grass, meadow fescue, and a few patches of cocksfoot, the land is covered with indigenous scrub and tussock, with stunted black-birch timber in the gullies. The altitude varies from 1,200 ft. to 3,000 ft. above sea-level.

Weighted with value of improvements (not exceeding £240), to be appraised.
