IN the New Zealand Gazette of the 7th March, 1907, there appeared a return showing the estimated yield per acre of wheat, oats, and barley for the colony, viz.: Wheat, 24 bushels; oats, 25 bushels; and barley, 26 bushels. The actual yields now to hand are as follows:—

The area for threshing was 206,185 acres, and the total yield is computed at .. 5,605,252 bushels.
