Defence Rifle Cadet Volunteer Corps disbanded.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve, under clause 39, (3), of “The Defence Act, 1886,” of the disbandment of the undermentioned Volunteer corps:—

Foxton Defence Rifle Cadet Volunteers,

with headquarters at Foxton. Date of disbandment, 4th May, 1907.

Headquarters of Mounted Rifle Volunteer Corps transferred.

Wellington, 13th May, 1907.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that the headquarters of the

Wallace Mounted Rifle Volunteers

be transferred from Nightcaps to Otautau, and with effect from 22nd April, 1907.

Award of Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officers’ Decoration.

Captain ARTHUR GETHIN CREAGH, Waitaki Mounted Rifle Volunteers,

he having a total rank and commissioned service to 28th February, 1907, entitling him thereto of twenty-one years one hundred and sixty-five days.
