Appointment of Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the Service of Notices by Telegraph.

Wellington, 15th March, 1907.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by “The Electric Lines Act, 1884” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and by the regulations made thereunder on the 25th March, 1895, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 4th April, 1895, the following officers at the addresses set against their names are hereby appointed Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates in relation to the service of any such notices as are required or authorised to be signed or given under the said Act or the regulations aforesaid :—
Capper, Howard Wilson, Chief Postmaster, Invercargill.
Chaney, Walter John, Chief Postmaster, New Plymouth.
Hester, Thomas, Postmaster, Masterton.
Nicholls, William Henry Sinderby, Chief Postmaster, Thames.

Removal of Order forbidding the Registering, Forwarding, or Delivery of Postal Correspondence addressed to “Prof.” Notman, Christchurch.
THE Postmaster-General of the Colony of New Zealand, being satisfied that the person whose name and address is shown hereunder is no longer engaged in advertising the treatment of diseases of the sexual organs, hereby rescinds the order, made under section 9 of “The Post Office Act Amendment Act, 1906,” dated the 8th day of March, 1907, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 14th day of March, 1907, forbidding that any postal packet addressed to such person shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand, and orders that such postal packets addressed to such person shall be registered, forwarded, and delivered in the usual course.
