that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county
road.

SCHEDULE.

TAIHAPE-WAIORU ROAD.

THAT part of the road known as Taihape-Waioru Road, in
the Rangitikei County and in the Land District of Wel-
lington, commencing at the bridge crossing the Hautapu
River, and proceeding in a northerly direction, fronting
Sections 60, 59, and 58, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey
District, and terminating at the boundary between the
Rangitikei and Wanganui Counties, being a distance of
1 mile 20 chains. more or less; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked R. 831, deposited
in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington,
in the Wellington Land District, and thereon shown in
blue colour.

Declaring Mangahoata Road, in the Rangitikei County, to
be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
eighth day of March, 1907.

THE HONOURABLE W. HALL-JONES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Ex-
cellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that
Mangahoata Road, in the Rangitikei County, described in
the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this
Order in Council, be a county road.

SCHEDULE.

MANGAHOATA ROAD.

ALL that portion of the road in the Wellington Land Dis-
trict, Rangitikei County, known as the Mangahoata Road,
commencing at its junction with the Horouta-Pukeokahu
Road, and proceeding generally in an easterly direction for
a distance of 1 mile 76·50 chains or thereabouts, fronting
Section 43, Block IX, and Sections 44 and 45, Block X,
Pukeokahu Survey District, and terminating at the boundary
between Sections 45 and 46, Block X aforesaid ; as the said
road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
R. 5997, deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of
Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District,
thereon shown in red colour, and lettered A.B.

Declaring Part of Potter Road, Hawke’s Bay County, to
be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
eighth day of March, 1907.

cil of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the
road in the Hawke’s Bay County described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
be a county road.

SCHEDULE.

THAT portion of the road in the Hawke’s Bay County, in
the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, known as Potter Road,
commencing from the northern end of that portion of the
said road handed over to the Hawke’s Bay County Council
on 2nd February, 1905, and proceeding thence in a northerly
direction to its junction with Section No. 120, Block XV,
Pohue Survey District, a distance of about 2 miles
10 chains ; as the said road is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked R. 4616A, deposited in the office of the
Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon shown in pink colour.

Consenting to closing Road in Block XIII, Wairoa Survey
District, Waitotara County.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
eighth day of March, 1907.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE W. HALL-JONES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three
of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that
a local authority shall not declare any county or district
road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to
be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by
Order in Council gazetted is obtained :

And whereas the Waitotara County Council has applied
for such consent in respect to the road described in the
Schedule hereto :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the
above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said colony, doth hereby consent to the Waitotara County
Council closing the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Hawke’s Bay Acclimatisation District defined.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,”
and the Acts amending the same, I, William Lee, Baron
Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint those parts of the said colony described in
the Schedule hereto to be a district under and for the pur-
poses of the said Act, and I do hereby declare that such
district shall be known as the “Hawke’s Bay Acclimatisation
District.”

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY ACCLIMATISATION DISTRICT.

ALL that area bounded towards the north generally by East
Taupo County ; towards the north-east generally by the
Wairoa Acclimatisation District, as defined by Warrant
under “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” dated 28th Sep-
tember, 1901, and published in the New Zealand Gazette
