617 The Chief Judge, Native Land Court Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7D No. 2D Whereas it is alleged that on partition of the said land Judge Mackay placed in the partitions certain persons who were not in the original order of investigation, and not registered proprietors; also that he irregularly created trusts in the said orders: The Court is directed to inquire and report to show (a) who (if any) were placed in the title to the partitions who were not original owners; (b) had any of these a legal claim to be placed in such partitions; (c) had they any just or equitable claim to be placed in such partitions; if so, what was the “take” of that claim and its merits? (d) should these said persons names be deleted from the partition orders of Judge Mackay; and, if so, (e) will it so alter the relative interest and position of parties that all subsequent partitions founded on Judge Mackay’s partition should be revoked, or should any (if so, what) be revoked; and (f) any other matter or thing that the Court may think necessary to inquire into and report upon in connection with the matter.
