Officers for signing and issuing Licenses under Animals Protection Acts, Bay of Islands District, appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Postmasters at Russell, Kohukohu, Kaikohe, Kawakawa, Rawene, Herekino, and Ohaeawai to sign and issue licenses to take or kill imported game—namely, cock pheasants and Californian quail—within the Bay of Islands District, consisting of the Counties of Bay of Islands and Hokianga, to any person on the payment of the sum of one pound.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Chief Postmaster at Westport to sign and issue licenses to take or kill imported game—namely, hares—within the Buller District, consisting of the County of Buller, to any person on the payment of the sum of one pound.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Chief Postmaster at Gisborne to sign and issue licenses to take or kill imported game — namely, cock pheasants and Californian quail—within the Cook County District, consisting of the Counties of Cook and Waiapu, to any person on the payment of the sum of one pound.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Officers for signing and issuing Licenses under Animals Protection Acts, Feilding District, appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Postmasters at Feilding, Kimbolton, Apiti, and Ashhurst to sign and issue licenses to take or kill imported game—namely, hares, cock pheasants, and Californian quail—within the Feilding District, described in the Schedule hereto, to any person on the payment of the sum of one pound.

SCHEDULE.

FEILDING AND DISTRICT ACCLIMATISATION DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north by the Kawhatau and Pourangaki Streams from the Rangitikei River to the summit of the Ruahine Range: thence towards the east generally by the summit of that range to the Manawatu Gorge, and by the Manawatu River to the Raukawa Road: thence towards the south generally by that road which forms the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 455 and 454, Block VIII, Kai-ranga Survey District, to the Palmerston-Ashhurst Road; thence by that road to Stony Creek Road; thence by that road and the railway-line to the Oroua River; thence by that river to Awahuri; and thence by the Awahuri-Bull’s Road to the Rangitikei River: and towards the north-west generally by the Rangitikei River to the Kawhatau Stream aforesaid.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Officer for signing and issuing Licenses under Animals Protection Acts, Grey District, appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Chief Postmaster at Greymouth to sign and issue licenses to take or kill imported game—namely, hares—within the Grey District, consisting of the County of Grey, to any person on the payment of the sum of one pound; and also to sign and issue to any person licenses to sell native and imported game within the said district on payment of the sum of five pounds.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Officers for signing and issuing Licenses under Animals Protection Acts, Hawera District, appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Postmasters at Hawera, Patea, Piha ma, Otakeho, Manaia, Awatuna East, Kaponga, Mangatoki, Okaiawa, Normanby, Eltham, Manutahi, Alton, Hurleyville, Waverley, and Waitotara to sign and issue licenses to take or kill imported game — namely, cock pheasants and quail—within the Hawera District, consisting of the Counties of Hawera, Patea, and Eltham, together with that portion of the County of Egmont lying to the eastward of the Taungatara River, being the Oeo Riding of the said County of Egmont, to any person on the payment of the sum of one pound.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Officers for signing and issuing Licenses under Animals Protection Acts, Hawke’s Bay District, appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Chief Postmaster at Napier, and the Postmasters at Waipawa, Woodville, Dannevirke, Hastings, Waipukurau, Norsewood, Ormondville, Porangahau, Wimbledon, and Takapau, to sign and issue licenses to take or kill imported game—namely, cock pheasants and Californian quail—within the Hawke’s Bay District, consisting of the Counties of Hawke’s Bay, Patangata, Woodville, Waipawa, and Weber, and part of the County of Wairoa, together with all the town districts and boroughs therein, to any person on the payment of the sum of one pound.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seven.
