All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners, lessee, and mortgagee of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Pelorus Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as roads the lands in Heringa Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the roads described in the Second Schedule hereto, which are not required by reason of the roads first hereinbefore proclaimed.

Closing Government Roads in the Township of Papatawai, Clutha County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three, (a), of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:

And whereas the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto are no longer required for the purpose of roads in Papatawai Township:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the roads in Papatawai Township hereinafter described.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-sixty-eighth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the allotments of Crown lands respectively described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for lease as a village settlement.
