Examinations for Junior National Scholarships, and for Junior Free Places in Secondary Schools, District High Schools, and Technical Schools.

THE following are lists of successful candidates at the examinations held on the 11th and 12th December, 1906, for the award of Junior National Scholarships, Junior Queen’s Scholarships, Education Board Junior Scholarships, and Junior Free Places in Secondary Schools, District High Schools, and Technical Schools.
The first list contains the names, arranged in order of merit, of candidates that have passed the Scholarship examination. Scholarships will be awarded from this list by the several Education Boards and other authorities concerned.
The second is a general alphabetical list of all candidates that are regarded as having satisfied the examination requirements for Junior Free Places, either by means of the Scholarship examination, or through the special examination for Junior Free Places.
NOTE.—From the list (I) here given, Education Board Junior Scholarships are awarded in the following Education Districts only: Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Marlborough, Otago, South Canterbury, Southland, Taranaki, Wanganui, and Wellington.
