DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned, under the style of “W. AND R. DICKIE,” at Waverley and Wanganui, as Flour-millers, has been dissolved as from the 31st day of October, 1907. The Waverley business will be carried on by Mr. William Dickie, who will receive all moneys and discharge all liabilities in connection therewith; and the Wanganui business will be carried on by Mr. R. A. Dickie, who will receive all moneys and discharge all liabilities in connection therewith.

EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE, PASSED AT A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL HELD ON 28TH OCTOBER, 1907.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Eastbourne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,500, authorised to be raised by the Eastbourne Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for borough-site, £225; main road, £1,000; main footpath, £400; private streets, £1,200; Orua Road extension, £300; Fabian Street improvement, £75; storm-water culverts, £550; rights-of-way, £100; recreation reserve improvement, £250; forest reserve, £170 16s. 10d.; sundries (expenses), £229 3s. 2d., the said Eastbourne Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Eastbourne Borough, comprising Sections 35, 36, 37, and 39, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District; Sections 38, 40, 41, 42, 44, 45, and 46, Block I, Pencarrow Survey District; and Section 43, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution will be confirmed at a meeting to be held at Williams’s Rooms, Rona Bay, on 30th November, 1907.

I HEREBY beg to give notice that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of this company held the 13th day of November, 1907, the following resolutions were passed:
“It is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”
“That Mr. WILLIAM STERICKER, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator to wind up the affairs of the company.”
