NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Wellington has commenced, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the extension of the waterworks at Karori—and for the use and enjoyment of such public work the land described in the Schedule below is required to be taken.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court of New Zealand under the provisions of “The Companies Act, 1903,” was on the fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and six, presented to His Honour Sir Robert Stout, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of the said Supreme Court of New Zealand, by Jane Holder Mathews, of Hampden, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, Widow, John Pettit, of Dannevirke, Farmer, and Ernest Albert Barton, of Feilding, in the Provincial District of Wellington, Banker, contributories of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before His Honour the Chief Justice at the Supreme Court House, Wellington, on Monday, the tenth day of December, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
