Land set apart for Settlement.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the seventy-third section of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

Vaccination Districts constituted.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by “The Public Health Act, 1900,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination district known as the Tauranga District, and do declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said district is hereby divided anew into two vaccination districts, the names and boundaries whereof shall be as follow:—
TAURANGA DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-east by the ocean from the Katikati Entrance of the Tauranga Harbour to the Tauranga Entrance; thence towards the east generally by a line along the middle of Tauranga Harbour to the mouth of the Waitao Stream; thence by the said Waitao Stream to the eastern boundary-line of Waitaha No. 2 Block; thence by the eastern boundary-line of the said Waitaha No. 2 Block to Waoku No. 2A Block; thence by the northern boundary-line of the last-mentioned block to its north-eastern corner; thence by the south-eastern boundary-lines of Waoku No. 2A and Waoku No. 2 Blocks, and the south-eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned block produced to the northern boundary of Rotorua County; thence towards the south by Rotorua County to Piako County; thence towards the south-west by the said Piako County to a point bearing 247° from the source of the Kauritutaki River; thence towards the north-west by a right line to the source of the said Kauritutaki River; thence by a line along the middle of the last-mentioned river to its confluence with the Aoangatete River; thence by a line along the middle of the said Aoangatete River to its mouth; and thence by the Tauranga Harbour to the Katikati Entrance, the place of commencement.
TE PUKE DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-east by the ocean from the Tauranga Entrance of the Tauranga Harbour to the mouth of the Whakatane River; thence towards the east by the said Whakatane River to the confiscation boundary-line; thence towards the south by the confiscation boundary-line to the eastern boundary of Rotorua County; thence towards the west and again towards the south by Rotorua County to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary-line of Waoku No. 2 Block; thence again towards the west generally by a right line to the southernmost corner of the said Waoku No. 2 Block; thence by Waoku No. 2, Waoku No. 2A, and Waitaha No. 2 Blocks to the Waitao Stream; thence by the said Waitao Stream to the Tauranga Harbour; and thence by a line along the middle of the Tauranga Harbour to the Tauranga Entrance, the place of commencement.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Changing the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS the provisions and requirements of the seventh section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” have been duly complied with in respect of the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto: And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published for four consecutive weeks, and laid before both Houses of Assembly, as provided by the said section of the said Act: And whereas no resolution of either House of Assembly has been passed that such House does not concur in the intention declared in any such notice:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named in the first column to that named in the third column of the said Schedule.
