Withdrawing Land from the Operation of “The Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1898.”
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of October, 1906.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by “The Kauri-gum Industry Amendment Act, 1902” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may by Order in Council declare that land set apart under “The Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1898” (hereinafter termed “the principal Act”), as a kauri-gum reserve, and which is no longer required for the purpose of gum-digging, shall be no longer subject to the principal Act, and shall thereafter be dealt with by the Land Board as ordinary Crown land; provided that such Order in Council shall only be issued in pursuance of a resolution of the Land Board, supported by such independent evidence as the Governor in Council deems necessary:
And whereas the Land Board of the Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of Towai No. 1 Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule hereto be excepted from the operation of the principal Act, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the portion of Towai No. 1 Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall be no longer subject to the provisions of the principal Act, and shall hereafter be dealt with by the Land Board as ordinary Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 18A, Block V, Hukerenui Survey District, and forming part of the Towai No. 1 Kauri-gum Reserve, set apart by Order in Council dated 12th April, 1899, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 13th April, 1899, page 756. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 18, Block V, Hukerenui Survey District, 539·7 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 386·3 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by other portion of the Towai No. 1 Kauri-gum Reserve aforesaid, 778·7 links and 303·4 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 37704/348, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Wrey’s Bush Public Library and Hall (Incorporated).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of October, 1906.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for a site for a public hall and library:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Wrey’s Bush Public Library and Hall (Incorporated):
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in “The Wrey’s Bush Public Library and Hall (Incorporated),” in trust, for a site for a public hall and library.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 5, Block XI, Town of Wrey’s Bush. Bounded towards the north by Regent Street; towards the east by Main Street; towards the south by Section No. 6, Block XI, Town of Wrey’s Bush; and towards the west by Section No. 4 of the said Block XI: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 54702/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of October, 1906.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Uritawa Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

URITAWA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Lots Nos. 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42 of Section 52, Parish of Tahawai, and comprised in certificate of title, Auckland, Vol. 115, folio 80.

Regulation for the Use and Conservation of the Rotorua Sanatorium, Thermal Springs, and Grounds.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section two hundred and forty-two of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby make the undermentioned regulation with respect to the Rotorua Sanatorium Grounds:—
REGULATION.
No motor-car or bicycle shall be allowed inside the Rotorua Sanatorium Grounds, being the grounds described in the Schedule hereto. Any person infringing this regulation shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding five pounds.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Town of Rotorua, being Sections 2 and 3 of Block I, Tarawera Survey District, containing respectively 117 acres 2 roods and 168 acres, or a total area of 285 acres 2 roods. Bounded towards the north by a portion of the Parade and Lake Rotorua; towards the east by the said lake; towards the south by the said lake, Block XLVII, and Hinemoa Street; and towards the west by Eruera Street, Block XLII, Hinemoa Street, Hinemaru Street, and the Parade: as delineated on the plan of the Town of Rotorua in the Survey Office, Auckland, and thereon marked “Sanatorium Grounds.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six.
