NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the New Zealand Co-operative Manufacturing Company (Limited), held at Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 17th day of October, 1906, the following resolution was passed :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
The above resolution will be submitted for confirmation as a special resolution to a second extraordinary general meeting, convened for Friday, the 26th day of October, 1906.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between us, as Land Agents, under the style or firm of “Mackay and Whishaw,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent as from the date hereof.
Mr. Mackay will continue to carry on business at Feilding on his own account, and Mr. Whishaw will continue to carry on business at Masterton on his own account.

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the shareholders of the AMERICAN TOBACCO COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND (LIMITED) will be held at the registered office of the company, in the A.M.P. Buildings, at Hunter Street, in the City of Wellington, on Monday, the 19th day of November, 1906, for the purpose of receiving the accounts of the Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the assets disposed of, and of hearing the explanation of the Liquidator as to such winding-up.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ALFRED JONES and SAMUEL EDWARD GEORGE COLEMAN, carrying on business as Photographic Importers, at Queen Street, Auckland, under the style or firm of “Jones and Coleman,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 8th day of October, 1906.
All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Samuel Edward George Coleman, who will continue to carry on the said business under the name of “Jones and Coleman.”

MOTOR REGISTRATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on the 6th day of October, 1906, the following resolution was passed, viz. :
“ That the Rangitikei County Council, being the registering authority under the provisions of ‘The Motor Registration Act, 1905’ (hereinafter termed ‘the said Act’), for the district of the County of Rangitikei, hereby resolves that the said Act shall be brought into force within the said district on and after the 10th day of November, 1906.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of “The Tramways Act, 1894,” “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and “The Public Works Act, 1905.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Wellington has, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, executed a certain public work—namely, the construction of a tramway in the City of Wellington, partly along Brougham Street—and that in connection with such public work the land described in the Schedule below, or such portion thereof as is not already part of Brougham Street, is required to be taken for widening Brougham Street. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said city, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of such land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

  1. All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, coloured pink on the said plan, containing by admeasurement one and seventy-five hundredths (1·75) perches, which piece of land is alleged by the City Council to be part of Brougham Street, and is alleged by Thomas Young, Esquire, to be parts of Town Acres 311 and 312.

  2. That piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, coloured blue on the said plan, containing by admeasurement thirty-one hundredths (·31) of a perch, which is alleged by the City Council to be part of Brougham Street, but which is fenced in by Samuel Carroll as part of his freehold property, being part of Town Acre 310.

Both of which pieces of land are situate in the Land District of Wellington; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan above mentioned.
