Lands taken for a Road in Sections 26 and 18, Te Papa Parish, Block X, Tauranga Survey District, Tauranga County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block X, Tauranga Survey District:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the lands, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of a road.

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of October, 1906.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS a petition has been presented to the Governor, under section one hundred and seventy-six of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” praying the Governor to alter the boundaries of the City of Wellington and of the Borough of Miramar by excluding from the said city the area described in the First Schedule hereto and including it in the said borough, and also by excluding from the aforesaid borough the area described in the Second Schedule hereto and including it in the aforesaid city: And whereas a notice showing the proposed alteration in boundaries of the said city and the said borough has been gazetted and publicly notified, and no objections in writing to or petitions against such alteration have been lodged:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that, as from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seven, the area described in the First Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the City of Wellington and shall be included in the Borough of Miramar, and that the area described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the said Borough of Miramar and shall be included in the said City of Wellington.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE CITY OF WELLINGTON AND TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH OF MIRAMAR.
The part of Allotment No. 45 lying on the west of the present western boundary of the Borough of Miramar; parts of Allotments Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 4a, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 lying on the west of the present western boundary of the Borough of Miramar; and the area lying between the production of the western boundary-line of Allotment No. 19 in a southerly direction and the present western boundary of the Borough of Miramar: as the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 55530, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
AREA TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF MIRAMAR AND TO BE INCLUDED IN THE CITY OF WELLINGTON.
The part of Allotment No. 46 lying on the east of the present eastern boundary of the City of Wellington, and the area lying between the present eastern boundary of the City of Wellington and the western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 18 and 19: as the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 55530, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of October, 1906.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a public work, to wit, for the purpose of a road in Blocks II and VI, Moeangiangi Survey District:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the said land, as required by the eighty-ninth section of “The Public Works Act, 1905”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the eighty-ninth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said road, and the said land vested in His Majesty the King, as from the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and six.
