Land taken for a Further Portion of the Otago Central Railway, Portion of Alexandra Section.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a further portion of the Otago Central Railway, portion of Alexandra Section:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purpose hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the said further portion of the Otago Central Railway as aforesaid.

The several parcels of land mentioned in list hereunder:—

All in the Provincial District of Otago; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 21603, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.
