SCHEDULE.

The parcel of land, containing 3 acres and 22½ perches,
more or less, being portion of the grant to L. A. McCaskill,
situated in Block VIII, Waihou Survey District, in the Pro-
vincial District of Auckland; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the
Ohinemari County Council, at Paeroa, and thereon coloured
pink.

Dated at Paeroa, this fifth day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and six.

MASTERTON COUNTY.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a poll of ratepayers of
the Masterton County, held on Saturday, the 1st
day of September, 1906, on a proposal to adopt the system
of rating property in the county on the unimproved value
thereof, the following votes were recorded:—

As the number of valid votes recorded against the pro-
posal exceeds the number of valid votes recorded for the
proposal, I declare the said proposal to be rejected.

FOR Deaf Children of sound intellect. The pupils are
taught to use and understand ordinary speech. The
best age for entrance is between six and seven.

The full charge for board and education is £40 a year,
but less is accepted from parents who cannot afford to
pay this amount. In case of necessity admission is free.

Parents having dumb children between the ages of four
and seven, and other persons desiring information with
regard to the school, are invited to apply to

30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period
than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for
the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by
the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day pre-
ceeding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders
should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed.
“Public a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders
are issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to
prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should
accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be re-
turned with receipted account.
