EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of Crown grants, Vol. 38, folios 222, 224, and 228, Vol. 50, folio 12, and Vol. 55, folio 49, for Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12, Block VIII, Township of Waipahi, whereof FRIEDRICH LISCHNER, late of Conical Hills, Waipahi, is registered proprietor, and application having been made to me to issue provisional certificates of title for the said land, I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such provisional certificates at the expiration of fourteen days from the publication hereof.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of “The Companies Act, 1903,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held in the office of the Liquidator, Mersey Street, Gore, on Friday, the 28th day of September, 1906, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Thursday, the 26th day of July, 1906, at 7.30 p.m., the following resolution was passed, namely :—

“The Council of the City of Wellington, the registering authority under the provisions of ‘The Motor Registration Act, 1905’ (hereinafter termed ‘the said Act’), of the District of the City of Wellington, hereby resolves, pursuant to the provisions of the said Act, that the said Act shall be brought into force in the said district on and after the 27th day of August, 1906.”
