Additional Land taken at Greymouth for the Purposes of the

Greymouth-Hokitika Railway.

PLUNKET, Governor.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Greymouth-
Hokitika Railway to take further land at Greymouth. in
addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of
the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The
Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its De-
pendencies; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this tenth day of July, in the year of our Lord
one thousand nine hundred and six.

A PROCLAMATION.

N pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its
amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the
owner of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the
consent of the Mangonui County Council, being the local
authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by
this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the lands in
Mangonui Survey District hereinafter described, that is to
say,—

A PROCLAMATION.

N pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
by the one-hundred-and-sixty-second section of “The
Land Act, 1892,” and of all other powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared
open for lease as part of the Paorae Improved-farm Special
Settlement.

Declaring certain Area in the Borough of Eastbourne to be
subject to “The Sand-drift Act, 1903,”

PLUNKET, Governor.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section two of “The Sand-drift Act,
1903” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”). it is,
inter alia, enacted that the Governor may, on the petition of
any local authority or of any two or more persons interested,
from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that the pro-
visions of the said Act shall, on a day named in the Procla-
mation, come into force within any specified area in New
Zealand :
And whereas a petition has been received from the Cor-
poration of the Borough of Eastbourne praying that the
provisions of the said Act may be brought into force in the
area described in the Schedule hereto :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority conferred upon me by section two of the said
Act, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that on and after the twentieth day of August, one thou-
sand nine hundred and six, the provisions of the said Act
shall come into force within the area described in the
Schedule hereto.
