Notice of Intention to take Land in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, for Scenic Purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and “The Scenery Preservation Act, 1903,” to take for scenic purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking thereof, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister for Public Works, Wellington.

CLARK, Esq., of 63 Pitt Street, Sydney, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, has this day been appointed by His Honour the Chief Justice a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in New South Wales, under the 2nd section of “The Commissioners of the Supreme Court Act, 1875,” for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.
