  • Owing to the very wet weather recently experienced in several districts in Otago a quantity of the crop intended for threshing could not be cut, therefore the areas for threshing have been reduced as follows: Wheat by 782 acres, oats by 6,278 acres.

The Counties of Amuri and Cheviot are included in the Canterbury District. The Counties of Waiapu and Cook are included in the Hawke's Bay District.
