NOTE.—The weather changable; rainfall and cloudiness above the average; and winds, alternately northerly and southerly, with a mean velocity of 295 miles per day, which is the highest average for the month of May since the use of the Robinson Anemometer commenced, in 1866. Mean daily range of temperature, 9·1 deg. Fah. Mean relative humidity, 80 per cent. Mean elastic force of vapour, 0·321 inches. Mean dew point, 46·8 deg. F.
