Broken country, covered with fern and small scrub; soil of medium quality, clay nature, resting on clay formation; well watered. Distant seven miles from Mercury Bay; access by formed road to within about two miles of section, thence by bed of creek (at present). Altitude from 40 ft. to 500 ft. above sea-level.

Trustees for the Eketahuna Public Cemeteries appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemeteries specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Eketahuna Town Board

EKETAHUNA.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 155, Block X, Mangaone Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road; towards the south-east by the Masterton-Woodville Railway; and towards the south-west by the Eketahuna Native Reserve: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26151A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

EKETAHUNA (ALFREDTON ROAD).
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Lot No. 2 of Section No. 40, Block VI, Mangaone Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 14; towards the east generally by Lot No. 1 of Section No. 40 aforesaid; and towards the South by the Alfredton Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26151B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and six.

Bounded towards the north by portion of Section No. 180 aforesaid; towards the east generally by the Kurapete River; towards the south by the Junction Road; and towards the west by the Wortley Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 38238, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and six.
