Special Order made by the Okato Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Okato Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

OKATO ROAD BOARD.
SPECIAL ORDER adopted by the Okato Road Board on the 5th day of February, 1906:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Okato Road Board resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £700, bearing interest at the rate of 4½ per cent. per annum, for a period of thirty-two years, authorised to be raised by the Okato Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for rebuilding the bridge, Oxford Road, and continuing the metalling on the Oxford Road to the junction with the Saunders Road, thence along the Saunders Road to the Kaihihi River, the said Okato Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅞d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Oxford Road Special-rating District No. 2, comprising Sections Nos. 38, 39, 42, 43, 44, 48, 49, 53, 54, 57, 58, 59, 62, 63, 67, 68, 69, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 81, 82, 85, 86, 87, 90, 91, 92, 94, 95, 96, 99, 100, 101, 102, 105, 106, Block VI; 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, Block X; 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, Block XI, all in the Cape Survey District, and containing 4,445 acres (be the same a little more or less): and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and it is intended to pay the expenses in connection with raising the loan out of the loan-money.
The above special order was duly confirmed by the Okato Road Board on the 6th day of March, 1906.

THE following special order, made by the Waitotara County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WAITOTARA COUNTY.
Special Order making Special Rate (No. 4).
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waitotara County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £200 at 4½ per cent. per annum for thirty-two years, authorised to be raised by the Waitotara County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for part cost of forming, grading, and metalling 128 chains of the Kaikokopu Road, the said Waitotara County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all property in the Kaikokopu Road Special-rating District, comprising Lots 5, 3, 4, and 1, and part of 2, Kaikokopu Estate, being part of Sections 33–73, Blocks II and III, Westmere Survey District, containing 712 acres and 1 perch; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitotara was hereto affixed in the presence of—

THE following special order, made by the Moa Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

MOA ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the above Board intends, at a meeting to be held on Saturday, the 17th February, 1906, to confirm the following special order:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and its amendments, the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Moa Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Surrey Road from the Mountain Road westwards, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁵⁄₁₆d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Surrey Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 9, 10, 13, 209, 210, 212, 215, 216, 217, 218, 219, Subsections 19, 20, 21, 22, of Section 183, Block XII, Egmont S.D.; 213, 214, Block XVI, Egmont S.D.; 220, 221, 222, 223, 224, part 225, Subsections part 15, 16, 17, 18 (in two subdivisions), of Section 183, Block IX, Huiroa S.D.: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, at 5 per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off. All expenses in connection with raising this loan to be paid out of loan-money.
