Additional Land taken at Petone for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land at Petone, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

The parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 14937, deposited in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

Land taken for a Road in Whakahora Block 4078, Blocks X and XI, Waitoa Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owner of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Ohinemuri County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice proclaim as taken for a road the land in Waitoa Survey District hereinafter described, that is to say,—

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

ERRATUM.—In the New Zealand Gazette of 6th December, 1906, page 3119, amended notice specifying Combined District of Auckland, under the Shops and Offices Act, “Eden” should read “Mount Eden.”
