"The Agricultural and Pastoral Statistics Act, 1895."—Interim Return of Corn and Green Crops, 1906-7.—Notice No. 1082,
Department of Agriculture (Division of Statistics), Wellington, N.Z., 15th December, 1906.
The collection of the statistics began on the 15th October and continued until the 10th day of November. The following is an interim return of the acreage under corn and green crops, and the amount of grain, &c., on hand.
The weather conditions, more especially in Otago and Southland, have not been favourable, consequently the areas under the various crops may have to be reduced.
