Revoking a Proclamation.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section six of “The Land Act, 1892” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this notice hereby revoke a Proclamation issued under section thirteen of the said Act, dated the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 74, pages 1915–16, dated the tenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and five, taking land for a road, and closing road, through Section 98, Wairau Parish, Block VIII., Waipu Survey District, Otamatea County, in the Land District of Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

GOD SAVE THE KING!

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the aforesaid section one hundred and sixty-seven, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the Schedule to the said Proclamation as defines the middle line of the said railway beyond the point marked 1 mile 30 chains on the plan numbered P.W.D. 20112 referred to therein; and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the part of the said railway commencing from the said point marked 1 mile 30 chains aforesaid shall be as defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in Section 56, Block VI., Mawheranui Survey District, the said point being marked 1 mile 30 chains on the line of railway shown on plan numbered P.W.D. 20112 referred to in the Proclamation hereinbefore referred to; proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and then in a northerly direction for a distance of about two miles, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands—viz., the said Section No. 56, and Mining Reserve No. 87, Block VI.; Mining Reserve No. 87 and Section No. 3, Block II.: all in the Mawheranui Survey District—and terminating in said Section No. 3 at a point on the left bank of Ford’s Creek: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Provincial District of Westland: in the manner delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 21670, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

Altering the Middle Line of the Ngahere–Blackball Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS under the provisions in that behalf of section one hundred and sixty-seven of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” the middle line of the Ngahere–Blackball Railway was defined by a Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and two: And whereas it has been found necessary in the construction of such railway to alter such line in manner hereinafter appearing:
