Regulations under “The Education Act, 1904.”—Secondary Schools.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of October, 1905.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Education Act, 1904,” the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the colony, doth hereby revoke all regulations heretofore made under the authority of the said Act regarding scholarships and free places in secondary schools and grants payable therefor, and in lieu thereof doth make the regulations hereto annexed; and, with the like advice and consent, doth prescribe that this Order shall come into force on the date of the first publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
REGULATIONS.
Provisions for Free Places.
- A secondary school shall be held to provide free places within the meaning of section 87 of the Act if, in accordance with the Act and these regulations, it admits to such free places all qualified pupils who wish to
