Appointment of Chairman of the Conciliation Board, Northern Industrial District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS the Registrar is satisfied that the persons elected to be the members of the Board of Conciliation for the Northern Industrial District (being the electing authorities) have failed to elect a Chairman of the Board:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
JOHN FAWCUS, Engineer, of Auckland,
to be Chairman of the said Board.
