alluvial soil; balance deep, black soil, with subsoil of sandy
c lay; well watered by running creek; easterly aspect;
22 chains frontage to Pomahaka River. Distant from Clin-
ton, twelve miles and a quarter; and from the Clutha
River, seven miles and a half.
