No. 28, Block X., Woodland Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road from Section No. 14, Block IX., Woodland Survey District, to the main road from Waikawa to Owaka and by the last-mentioned road; towards the south-east by the aforesaid main road from Waikawa to Owaka; and towards the west by Sections Nos. 17 and 14 of the said Block IX.: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 53580A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this first day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

Land set apart for State Forest Purposes in the Land District of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby set apart the forest land described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for a State forest within the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 142 acres and 37 perches, more or less, being Section No. 9, Block XV., Akatarawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 418, Block XV., Akatarawa Survey District, by the crossing of a road, and again by the said Section No. 418; towards the east by Section No. 438 of the said Block XV., by the crossing of a road, and again by the said Section No. 438; again towards the north by Section No. 438 aforesaid, by the crossing of a road, and again by the said Section No. 438; again towards the east by a State forest reserve, containing 10,578 acres, more or less, set apart by Proclamation dated the 26th day of September, 1898, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 71, of the 29th September, 1898, page 1540, by the abutment of a road, and again by the said State forest reserve; towards the south by the State forest reserve aforesaid; and towards the west by Section No. 299, Block XIV., Akatarawa Survey District: exclusive of a road reserve which intersects the above-described area: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 36674/50, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the section of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and is hereby withdrawn from sale as a village-homestead allotment.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION No. 681, Township of Arowhenua, containing 1 rood.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-sixty-eighth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the allotments of Crown lands respectively described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for lease as a village settlement.
