EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate of title, Register-book, Vol. 186, folio 91, comprising Rural Section 7052x, situated in Block V. of the Rolleston Survey District, whereof GEORGE THOMAS ROBERTSON, of Courtenay, Farmer, is the registered proprietor, and application having been made to me to issue a provisional certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue such provisional certificate on the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

PRIVATE ADVERTISEMENTS.

In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and also of the taking under the said Act by the Gisborne Borough Council of certain land within the Arai Road District for the purpose of establishing waterworks for the Borough of Gisborne.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Gisborne, for and on behalf of the Gisborne Borough Council, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” and amendments thereof, intend to take by Proclamation the following land, viz.:

All that piece or parcel of land, situate in the District of Poverty Bay, containing by admeasurement 321 acres, being part of Section No. 4 of the Maraetaha No. 2 Block of Block IV. of the Nuhaka Survey District, within the Arai Road District, being part of the land comprised in and delineated on plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office, at Gisborne, under No. 1371, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register-book, Volume 37, folio 195, Poverty Bay Registry.

A plan of the said land is deposited at the store of Mr. Daulton, at Te Arai, in the Poverty Bay District, where the same may be inspected at all reasonable hours. The work proposed to be executed upon the said land is the establishment of a reservoir and waterworks for the Borough of Gisborne.

All persons having any objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands are hereby required to send such objections in writing to the Borough Council, at Gisborne, on or before the 30th day of September, 1905.
