In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the NEW ZEALAND ALFORD ESTATE COMPANY (LIMITED), incorporated in England under the provisions of the Companies Acts, 1862 to 1880, and now in voluntary liquidation, intends, at the expiration of three months after the date of the first publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, to cease to carry on business in New Zealand.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of the Enterprise Water-race Company (Registered), in liquidation.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Enterprise Water-race Company (Registered), held at the registered office of the company, Naseby, on the 1st day of July, 1905, the following resolution was unanimously passed: “That the Enterprise Water-race Company (Registered) be voluntarily wound up, and that Mr. E. W. Newman, Naseby, be appointed Liquidator.” And that at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the company, held at the same place on the 22nd day of July, 1905, the said resolution was unanimously confirmed as a special resolution.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of the Ashburton Farmers’ Auctioneering and Agency Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 23rd day of June, 1905, presented to His Honour Mr. Justice Denniston, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by Charles Champion Rawlins, of Ashburton, Agent, a creditor of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on Friday, the 18th day of July, 1905, at 11 a.m., at the Supreme Court House, Durham Street, Christchurch, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

THE CLINTON ATHENÆUM AND MECHANICS’ INSTITUTE BUILDING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the Athenæum Hall, Clinton, on Saturday, the 21st day of October, 1905, at 7 o’clock in the evening, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between WILLIAM GEORGE SOMERVILLE and ERNEST CHARLES LEVY, of Wellington, Barristers and Solicitors, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, and each partner will practice on his own account. The said William George Somerville will take over all the assets and receive all accounts due to the said firm, and will discharge any debts owing by the said firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between us, PETER HALYBURTON MILLER and ALBERT HENRY COCK, as Manufacturers, Indent and Commission Agents, carrying on business at Number 32, Cuba Street, City of Wellington, has been dissolved as from the 20th day of July, 1905. The said Peter Halyburton Miller will continue to carry on business at the address aforesaid, and will take over all the assets and discharge all the liabilities of the late partnership.
