Assistant Lecturer, Thames School of Mines, required.

Mines Department,
Wellington, 22nd May, 1905.

WRITTEN applications, stating qualifications and
accompanied by testimonials, will be received at
this office up to Saturday, 1st July next, for the position of
Assistant Lecturer at the School of Mines at the Thames,
at a salary of £180 per annum.
The person selected will be required to assume his duties
on the 1st August next. The appointment will be proba-
tionary, subject to confirmation after three months.

out administration, the Public Trustee has filed in
the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington an election

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned
village-homestead allotments will be open for selec-
tion on lease in perpetuity, at this office, on Tuesday, the
8th day of August, 1905, under the provisions of “The
Land Act, 1892.”
If more than one application is received for the same
allotment on the same day the order of selection shall be
decided by ballot.

acres.
